La Miss sobreviviente al cáncer que conmueve a las redes sociales

Los certámenes de belleza son amados por muchos, la australiana Brittany Dickson fue coronada como la nueva Miss Tierra 2020 en su país, luego de pasar por un arduo proceso de selección.

La joven sobreviviente de cáncer cerebral, es graduada de biociencia animal y representó a Land Down Under en la vigésima edición del certamen Miss Earth Australia.

«No quiero la corona por la gloria, quiero que la corona alce mi voz para llegar a la mayor cantidad de personas posible en la búsqueda de una Tierra más verde«, dijo la joven australiana quien ya había participado en el concurso en ediciones anteriores, siendo coronada como Miss Charity  y Miss Air.

En este 2020, Australia aún tiene la esperanza de ganar la primera corona de Miss Earth. El país ocupa actualmente el sexto lugar en el ranking del concurso de belleza que se enfoca en el cuidado y la preservación del medio ambiente.

Miss Earth Australia 2020 🌏⁣👸🏼 ⁣ Most of you have been around for long enough to know how much this means to me and how challenging these past couple of years have been. ⁣ ⁣ Upon reflection, it seems almost symbolic that this was my year – bushfires, floods, volcanic eruptions and a global pandemic..
